Jennie Aylor, LPC, Mental Health Clinical Supervisor

Jennie Aylor, LPC, has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and is licensed through the state of Michigan. Jennie has been in the counseling field serving children and families in varying capacities since 2008 with a primary focus on identifying and beginning to heal barriers, emotional and attachment wounds, trauma, and any symptoms that keep us from reaching our full potential and peace in life.

Jennie has an eclectic and holistic therapy approach with certification as a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional and is extensively trained in EMDR. She has also obtained trainings in play therapy, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, IFS Parts therapy, dissociation, and several other mind/body focused therapies and techniques tailored to best meet the needs of each individual and family. Her extensive work with children and adults throughout her career has focused on treating anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, grief, domestic violence, anger management, OCD, complex/developmental trauma, PTSD, and struggles with attachment, emotion management, self-esteem, identity, and finding purpose in life.

Jennie has a passion for continued learning, especially to thoroughly understand how the mind and body function together. This is to not only best serve others, but to try to continually grow and learn in various and ongoing ways herself. Jennie loves to help others, but in her free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, watch “reality” TV shows, read, travel, work-out, and be in warm, sunny weather any chance she can.
