Elizabeth Rykse, CNM

Elizabeth Rykse, CNM, has a variety of training and experience in nursing and women’s health. Her prior work experience includes Mary Black Memorial Hospital ER, Labors of Love Midwifery in Spartanburg, SC, primary care services in women’s health at Taubman Health Center in Ann Arbor, MI, Garden City Women’s Health Care in Garden City, MI, and Huztel Women’s Hospital in Detroit, MI.

A member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, Elizabeth has a Master’s Degree in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Michigan. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI and served as Vice President of Service for Golden Key National Honor Society. During this period of time, she worked with patients at Borgess Hospital, Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital and the Maternal Infant Health Program at South Haven Hospital.

A native of Muskegon, Elizabeth has a passion for community and has organized various activities that include Community Walks for Homelessness, the American Heart Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraising events.
