Samara Champion MSN, APRN, FNP-C received her Master’s in Nursing from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is from the University of Michigan-Flint.
Samara, aka Sam, is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) of which she is also a member. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Michigan.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Sam worked as a paramedic and a registered nurse in adult and pediatric intensive care. She is passionate about treating illnesses and caring for acute injuries across all age groups and enjoys helping patients improve their health.
Sam firmly believes in “progress over perfection” regarding patient care. She encourages her patients to take ownership of their health and wellness and guides them in finding the tools needed to thrive. She believes patient education is essential, making it a priority to answer any questions as often as needed.
As a Hackley Community Care provider, she is eager to partner with the citizens of Muskegon to help maintain and improve their health needs.
Sam enjoys spending time with her husband and three children outside of work. She looks forward to moving closer to Muskegon.
