Jennie Aylor, LPC earned her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and her Bachelor of Science degree through Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Jennie is licensed in the State of Michigan.
She has been certified as an Adoption Specialist with training in developmental trauma, RAD, OCD, ODD, anger management, building attachment, identity and self-esteem, and many other areas relating to children and teens who have experienced trauma, anxiety and/or depression, and those who have been or are in the foster care system, including refugee, domestic and international adoptions.
Jennie is trained in CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, and uses several other mind/body focused therapies and techniques tailored to best meet the needs of the individual or family. Her extensive work with children and adults throughout her career has focused on treating anxiety, depression, grief, domestic violence, trauma and/or PTSD. She also has worked in child welfare serving children and families through foster care and adoption.
Mrs. Aylor is married and the mother of 5 children. She enjoys summer days at the beach, reading, hiking, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
