Greg Deacon MA, LLP, CAADC, CCS, received his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. A graduate of Traverse City High School, Greg graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Greg is a Limited Licensed Psychologist, and he is a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP). He is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Therapy techniques.
Greg’s career includes managing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and case management teams for chronically ill patients in the greater Grand Rapids area, he was instrumental in the opening of Touchstone’s Counseling Center, and he has served as the Director of Cherry Health’s Medication Assisted Treatment programs.
Outside of his professional career, Greg enjoys the outdoors, and he is a member of the National Ski Patrol. He loves mountain biking, skiing, and hunting.
