Eva Pena, Board Member

Born in Shelby Michigan, and having lived in various parts of the country, West Michigan has always felt like home. Eva returned to the area and has lived and worked in the Muskegon community for over 30 years.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI and has spent most of her career working in healthcare. Her focus has always been ensuring access to healthcare services for all, specifically ensuring systems for addressing the needs of non-English speaking community members.

She believes deeply in supporting local organizations that address food insecurities and community wellbeing, such as Kids Food Basket and United Way of the Lakeshore.

In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and traveling.
