Ashley Dowdell, CSCO

Ashley is a proud native and resident of Muskegon County and loves serving the community that helped to mold the person she has become today. Starting as a proud Muskegon Heights Tiger alum and furthering her academic achievements locally at both Muskegon Community College and Baker College Ashley successfully obtained her associate’s degree in Human Services (AAS), bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BAA), and a master’s degree (MBA) in Healthcare Administration.

Ashley has been a health care administrator for over 12 years working in various leadership capacities such as practice manager, clinic administrator, regional manager, director, and consultant within the West Michigan area. Having experience working in several sectors of both large and small healthcare systems, Ashley has always been particularly passionate about working with the underserved populations and connecting them to high quality health care services that we all deserve. From 2014 – 2016, Ashley worked as a School Program Manager with Hackley Community Care, helping to expand their school-based programs into several districts throughout Muskegon County through the Network HUB project.

Ashley is happily married to Desmond and together they have 3 amazing children who they have the honor of raising here in Muskegon County. “One of the most rewarding achievements that we can accomplish in life is helping those who are less fortunate or who find themselves facing challenging times, to receive the support that they need to be whole physically, mentally, and spiritually. I am honored to be a part of connecting the underserved and underrepresented of our community to the services that they need.”

Ashley proudly returns to Hackley Community Care serving as the Chief Strategy & Compliance Officer where she is overseeing the quality, risk management, compliance, communications, IT, and administrative operations of the organization.
