Allison Bryan-Cortez, LMSW, CAADC is a licensed social worker in the State of Michigan. She received her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in the Advanced Standing Program. This Advanced Standing Program allows student to complete a Master’s degree in 1 year in Interpersonal Practice with children, youth and their families. Allison received her Bachelors of Social Work degree (Cum Laude) from Eastern Michigan University.
Other certifications received from the University of Michigan include Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CAADC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
Allison specializes in individual and group therapy, assessment, person centered planning, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, crisis invention, trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
Ms. Bryan-Cortez brings her skills and talent to Hackley Community Care as a behavioral health and substance use therapist with our School Based Health programs, the MAT program at our Integrated Health Clinic (IHC) and provide individual therapy at our Baker site. She is excited about these positions because of the diversity of the populations and being able to provide assistance to members of our community.
Allison has been married for over 20 years and has two children. Allison grew up in metro Detroit area and throughout the past 20 years has moved around the state of Michigan currently making the Muskegon area her home. When Allison is not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on relaxing walks and completing home improvement projects around the home.
