Keira Cowan, LLMSW, received her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky and her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma.
Keira is passionate about supporting children and creating a space for them to feel safe, seen, and heard. Taking a flexible approach allowing people to find a sense of control and management within their sessions. Keira believes in the power of self-expression, play, and creativity to help children identify their thoughts, feelings, and needs.
Keira worked previously supporting children of adult patients in hospital settings, helping to explain the hospital setting to parents and children. As well as having specific education in grief and bereavement work.
Keira was raised in West Michigan and enjoys spending time with her two dogs. She loves to travel, spend time outside, and adventure.
