Wendy Stinson MA, LPC, provides behavioral health counseling and therapy to individuals, families and couples. She is certified in Crisis de-escalation.
In addition to educational studies in General Education at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, Wendy holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Secondary Education from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and graduated with honors from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a Master’s Degree in counseling. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society.
A native of Clare, Michigan, Wendy’s prior professional experience includes teaching high school science, history, and adult education classes, life relationship skills to at-risk boys, staff development coordinator for a State of Michigan residential facility, counseling women and youth who are victims of domestic violence.
She is the proud mother of two children and four grandchildren, and remains active by cross-country skiing, kayaking and riding her bike. Wendy also loves to cook and entertain.
