Tawna is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program at Rutgers University (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) and holds a Masters’ Degree in Health Sciences. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology from Indiana University.
Having worked with the underserved her entire career, she is a strong believer in helping others. Her personal vision is to share values of faith, family and affection in a manner that brings tranquility to all aspects of a person’s life that they may have a foundation for personal growth.
Her practice style is to treat patients as the whole person (mind, body and spirit) with compassion and integrity. Tawna has been with Hackley Community Care since 1998 and became the Lead Physician Assistant in 2010.
The scope of her practice is Internal/Family Medicine with special interests in Women’s Health, Psychiatric medicine and chronic disease management.
