Mark Graves, LMSW, is a graduate of the Western Michigan University School of Social Work where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Social Work. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree Sociology from Grand Valley State University.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in providing treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues to adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient settings. He has coordinated Employee Assistance Programs, providing counseling, and in-service training to employers and supervisors. Mark has also provided services as a qualified US Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional, and in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
Mark’s areas of expertise include substance abuse counseling, treatment of depression and anxiety, and life’s transitions. He uses solution focused counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy to assist patients in identifying and practicing things that work in resolving their concerns.
