Kierra is a Behavioral Health Consultant at Marquette Elementary School. She provides individual and group therapy to students and provides support to help remove barriers that children face in everyday life.
She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration of Clinical Studies. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Family Community Services with a focus in Child and Youth Development from Michigan State University.
Her prior experience include providing in-home support to families with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Impaired adults, therapy services to elementary school students, empowering women and their families in inner cities through the Early On Program and working with migrant students in a High School Equivalency Program.
Kierra enjoys being involved in her church’s activities, traveling, enjoying nature, quality time with family and giving back to the community by doing random acts of kindness. “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”- Maya Angelou
