Judy Pruim, LBSW, School Based Health Program Director

Judy Pruim, LBSW received her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University and is licensed in the State of Michigan.  She chooses Social Work because it is “the helping” profession.  

Judy has dedicated her life to working for Hackley Community Care starting in the Maternal Infant Health Program over 30 years ago.  She was instrumental in establishing a model for the integration of mental and physical health not only in the Muskegon community but in our nation.  She participated in a National Disparities Health project presenting the model on a national level and advocated in our state legislature to expand funding to make this work sustainable.  

The last 17 years Judy has helped establish School Based Health Programs throughout Muskegon County in over 9 school districts and continues to be a leader in the promotion of these programs throughout the state.  She participates in a state health advisory committee helping to shape and expand services to adolescents and children across the state.   

Judy enjoys spending time with her family particularly her grandson in her free time.  She enjoys camping, gardening, and traveling and is always up for a new adventure.
